Set up is easy and the ICON goes on in a snap. Just be aware that this is not a lightweight product. Don’t drop one on your toes. I’m not saying I did that, but I’m also not not saying I did. About the only downfall to an ICON is they aren’t the cheapest lock out there. You pay a bit extra for quality, and the Altor ICON is the peak of quality.

More FeaturesOne of the nice touches with the loaded test unit I had was the Polaris Pro 4,500-lb. winch. Polaris has come a long way with its line of winches, and they now rival the best in the industry in terms of features and durability. I’d go so far as to say Polaris could market these under an accessory brand name and do well in the market. Yes, I know they own Kolpin, and the Kolpin winches are very good, too, but they could make them sexy like the Pro models and sell a ton.

The important thing to consider right off the bat is – what caliber firearm are you going to use the suppressor on most often? Depending upon what you want to do with your suppressor, this is a very important consideration.

Learn more ›Whether you’re heading deep into the backcountry or simply enjoying a few hours on your local trail, finding a good pair of lightweight hiking shoes is a critical decision. The right footwear lays the foundation (literally!) for a good time outdoors. There’s nothing we love more than time on the trail. And there’s nothing worse than having uncomfortable shoes ruin that time.
