TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Pima County Board of Supervisors has approved 14 contracts to continue the Pima Early Education Program (PEEPs), providing free preschool to eligible families. The decision was made during the board's meeting on May 6 with a 4-1 vote. According to the Pima County, the contracts involve school districts in Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Flowing Wells and Sahuarita, as well as Child-Parent Centers and First Things First. PEEPs serves more than 1,400 children annually.
