V. parahaemolyticus was isolated from clinical (stool) and environmental samples collected at food markets during a foodborne disease surveillance program from 2020 to 2023 in several regions of Huzhou, China. The isolation, identification, and serotyping of V. parahaemolyticus were performed as previously described [12]. We selected 128 V. parahaemolyticus isolates (69 from stool samples and 59 from environmental samples) for sequencing and further analysis. V.
