Ακόμα και μετά από ένα θετικό preview για το Avowed αυτό το καλοκαίρι, βρήκα τον εαυτό μου να αναρωτιέται αν ήταν τυχαίο. Ίσως ήταν απλώς μια διασκεδαστική αποστολή. Ίσως η Obsidian να μην είναι σε θέση να κρατήσει το ενδιαφέρον μου καθώς ανακαλύπτονται περισσότερες αποστολές. Ίσως ήταν απλώς μια ωραία μέρα. Όχι.

Cada vez que juego a Path of Exile 2, y ya he tenido la suerte de hacerlo unas cuantas veces, tengo más confianza en que va a ser especial. Ya he jugado como Cazador, Monje, Brujo, Guerrero y, más recientemente, Mercenario. Uno pensaría que estaría cansado de hacer sesiones de más de 2 horas con cada una de las clases, pero es todo lo contrario. Estoy deseando volver a jugar. El lanzamiento de la beta, el 6 de diciembre, está al caer. Voy a centrar este avance en el Mercenario.

Every time I play Path of Exile 2 – and I’ve been lucky enough to play it a few times now – I grow more confident that it’s going to be special. I’ve now played as the Hunter, Monk, Witch, Warrior, and most recently Mercenary. You’d think that I’d be tired of doing 2+ hour sessions with each of the classes, but the inverse is true. I can’t wait to dive back in. Its beta release on December 6 can’t come soon enough. I’m going to focus this preview on the Mercenary.

Even after a positive preview for Avowed this Summer, I found myself wondering if it was a fluke. Maybe it was just a fun mission. Maybe Obsidian won’t be able to keep my interest as more quests are discovered. Maybe it was just a nice day. Nope. Avowed is just a lot of fun. Coming fresh off of trying out Dragon Age: The Veilguard, I was so happy when I discovered just how evil I could be to people I met along the way right from the start of Avowed – something Veilguard just didn’t fulfill.
