Similar to my issues with Talk to Me, but this is also very derivative of things we’ve seen before except even more so and kinda boring. I’ve seen plenty of “evil foster parent” films and the resurrection plot had no suspense. Sure the body horror is gnarly (teeth shit always kills me), but doesn’t hold much weight. The performances are solid, I liked the siblings and Sally Hawkins does Sally Hawkins things. Even if it’s meant to be a more somber film, there should still be some sort of energy.

★★ I’m not really sure what that was? Not fun or funny enough to be a good time, script isn’t good enough to have any serious takeaway from it.

★★★★½ Nothing to see here, just two bisexuals fighting for top dominance. With guns.
