Montgomery College Ranked Top 10 Community College
Wallet Hub named Montgomery College as the top community college in Maryland in a 2024 community college ranking. Montgomery College (MC) was also ranked the #10 community colleges nationally overall, according to the annual WalletHub ranking. Furthermore, WalletHub named Maryland the state with the best community-college systems. The finance company compared more than 650 two-year community colleges in their rankings.

As part of the initiative, the County’s 311 customer service center launched the AI-powered assistant, Monty 2.0.
