According to a Lifeway Research study of U.S. Protestant pastors, 94 percent believe their churches will still exist in 10 years, 4 percent disagree and 2 percent aren’t sure. Yet, even among the more than 9 in 10 who are looking forward to an extended future, some doubt remains.

The Bible Society study, “The Quiet Revival,” which surveyed more than 13,000 people, tracked a 12% uptick since 2018 among 18- to 24-year-olds who report attending church at least monthly.
