1 Introduction Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) is a rare genetically and clinically heterogeneous disorder mainly characterized by bone fragility, skeletal deformities, and growth deficiency. Extra-skeletal features are common and include blue/gray sclerae, hearing loss, dental abnormalities, joint instability, and coagulation defects.

A positive relationship between birth size, mainly birth length and adult height was found, while birth size had no strong association with age at peak height velocity.
