Katie Cunningham has joined Nosy Crow Inc. as publisher, as of March 18. Most recently she had been senior VP, editorial, and associate publisher at Candlewick Press, before stepping away in late 2024. She joined Candlewick as an editorial assistant in 2003 and was named associate publisher in November 2023.

Erin Entrada Kelly has won the 2025 John Newbery Medal for the most outstanding contribution to children’s literature, for her novel The First State of Being (Greenwillow), edited by Virginia Duncan. Rebecca Lee Kunz has won the 2025 Randolph Caldecott Medal for the most distinguished picture book for children, for Chooch Helped (Levine Querido), written by Andrea L. Rogers, edited by Arthur Levine.
