Il concept album è ormai qualcosa a cui non può scampare più nessuno: stavolta è toccato ai Nothing But Thieves, band inglese alternative conosciuta soprattutto per il disco del 2017 “Broken Machine”. La “Dead Club City” che descrivono in questo album è una città distopica, che si presenta come un club esclusivo per i suoi soci. Viene presentata da subito con l’apripista “Welcome to the DCC”, che pone le basi dance ed elettronica che emergono prepotenti nell’album.
