At least one person died in Washington County, Kentucky, when a powerful tornado left widespread damage Friday morning. The county's sheriff's office confirmed the death and multiple injuries in a Facebook post at 9:48 a.m. EDT, about two hours after the twister struck the area located about 50 miles southwest of Lexington.
