There is the distinct possibility that Leeds United and Burnley could both end the season on exactly 100 points. The two clubs are heading back to the Premier League after securing promotion with two matches to spare. The Clarets sealed their top-flight return by beating Sheffield United on Easter Monday. Like Daniel Farke, it is the third time Scott Parker has guided a team to promotion from the Championship. But the Burnley head coach is eager to keep push the Whites all the way for the title.

Leeds United risk losing more members of their backroom team to Everton this summer. A BBC report says the Toffees are interested in luring Nick Hammond and Gary Penrice away from Elland Road as new owners The Friedkin Group look to restructure the club's leadership team. It emerged last month that Whites chief executive Angus Kinnear will leave the club at the end of the season to become Everton's new CEO. The move will see Kinnear end his eight-year association with United.

Joe Gelhardt has dropped the biggest hint yet that his long term future could lie away from Leeds United. The forward has been a revelation since joining Championship rivals Hull City on loan during the January transfer window. Gelhardt left Elland Road, having found first team football hard to come by under Daniel Farke. The 22-year-old has reignited his stuttering career since moving to East Yorkshire.

Burnley skipper Josh Brownhill had a laugh about their promotion-clinching 2-1 victory against Sheffield United, saying the Clarets have "bored our way to the Premier League" after securing their spot in the top flight following a one-year absence. With a rock-solid defence that's let in only 15 goals over 44 matches, Burnley's triumph over their promotion rivals assured their Premier League return with two games to spare and also catapulted Leeds United back up.

Leeds United will be searching for a fourth consecutive Championship win when they host Stoke City in their penultimate home match of the season. Daniel Farke's troops welcome the Potters to Elland Road knowing victory coupled with Sheffield United failing to win at Burnley later on Easter Monday would be enough to secure Premier League promotion. Four more points from their final three fixtures will guarantee a top-two finish.

🔵⚪️ It's not Jon Worthington's fault that #htafc are going to fall short. It's bad decision-making from the top. It's just not good enough. The players have grossly under-performed but big questions have to be asked again about their recruitment. https://t.co/yOp9CeC8V7

🔵⚪️ Kevin Nagle's decision to dispense with Michael Duff's services and put Jon Worthington in caretaker charge for the remainder of the season has backfired. They've lost three out of JW's five matches in charge as another year in L1 beckons. #htafc https://t.co/rqChDBkyeO

Danny Röhl was asked about links to the vacant manager's job at Southampton after the Blackburn draw: “There are a lot of rumours but this is no question mark; my focus at the moment is here. If there comes a moment we can speak about my future, it’s after the season.” #SWFC 🦉⚽️ https://t.co/5ZRb5fPSeS
