The Province is building new student housing at four Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) campuses to provide students with more affordable options and ease pressure on the local housing supply. About 270 more beds in total will be built at the NSCC Cumberland campus in Springhill, Kingstec campus in Kentville, Lunenburg campus in Bridgewater and the Institute of Technology in Halifax.

Anyone interested in becoming a nurse in Nova Scotia will have more options as the Province is increasing the number of nursing seats across the province, with many opening this fall. Premier Tim Houston announced today, May 11, the government will support a new nursing program at Acadia University, in partnership with Cape Breton University, and add more seats at Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC).
