A popular antiques shop in Cambridge City, Indiana, has reopened following the death of its owner earlier this year. David Albert reopened Log House Antiques August 1. The shop had been run by Shane Hawkins since 2010. The business had closed after Hawkins died unexpectedly in March. Albert and Hawkins were longtime friends, having met in high school in the 1980s. “We went to two different county schools, and Shane was two years younger, but we both ran cross country,” said Albert.
