It all started when news broke of City Manager Erik Walsh approving the purchase of 20 VIP tickets for city council members. KSAT-12 began reporting on how $20,000 in taxpayer money was used to buy the tickets a few days after the tournament wrapped up. That raised a lot of questions from residents and city hall has been trying to answer them ever since.

    SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man who was shot Friday morning says the gunman apologized before speeding off. It happened at around 2:30 a.m. at O’Connor Road and Command Post Street. The victim, a man in his 20’s, says he was being followed when someone in a black SUV pulled up beside him and started shooting. After firing multiple rounds, the shooter got out of his vehicle, walked up to the victim’s car and told him he had the wrong person, and that he was sorry.

    SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — An assistant football coach with the Judson ISD has been arrested for trying to convince students to send him explicit images and texts. San Antonio police say 41-year-old Christopher Irving was arrested Thursday in the Live Oak area. The investigation began a year ago when school staff became aware of Irving’s behavior.

    SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A hit and run on the Southeast Side sends two people to the hospital. San Antonio police report that it happened just after 7a.m. Thursday near Pollydale Avenue and Pecan Valley Drive. Two people were riding a motorcycle when they were hit by someone driving a car. The driver took off and ditched their vehicle. Police are still working to track them down. The two people on the motorcycle were brought to an area hospital and there’s been no update on their conditions.

    SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — With San Antonio’s biggest party of the year a about to get underway, officials are urging you to stay preventative measures to avoid a run-in with the law. During a press conference Wednesday, Police Chief William McManus said they had 139 DWI arrest during Fiesta 2024. The chief says that’s the lowest number of people taken in for that crime in 4 years, and he’d like to see that downward trend continue.
