3.1. Composite CharacterizationFigure 1 reports the XRPD of the plain OMP and the [email protected] composites. The OMP sample exhibits typical reflections of CaCO3 and hydroxyapatite phases; additional phases are formed in the [email protected] composites prepared using the reducing agents, NaBH4 (US50B and US100B) and trisodium citrate (US50C and US100C).
