The CD68 BV711 antibody from Biolegend has a bright signal and allows the distinction of mouse macrophages in different tissues. The antibody is easy to use in combination with an intracellular staining kit from the same company. Strongly recommended.

I used the Zombie Aqua Fixable Viability Kit in both human and mouse cells. The product works great and it is available in different fluorochromes (to be adapted to every FACS panel). The staining takes at least 30 minutes but allows a good separation of dead and alive cells also after fixation.
