An absolutely enthralling 2025 Ulster final ended with Donegal edging out Armagh by a single point in extra time on Saturday evening in Clones. There was drama, there was chaos, there were perfect conditions and two of the game's greatest managers. For Jim McGuinness, it's a fifth Ulster title in a storied career as Donegal boss, and a second since he returned last year.

The on-going row over skorts in camogie took an unexpected turn on Friday evening when the Musnter final was unexpectedly postponed by the Munster Camogie Council. Cork and Waterford were set to contest the Munster final on Saturday at 1pm at The Ragg in Co. Tipperary. Both counties had made it clear they were going to wear shorts, instead of skorts. This week on The Overlap, he produced a savage line on the recent spat between Eni Aluko and Ian Wright. Wright is a great friend of Keane, and he is also a long-standing advocate of women's football. He's a staple of ITV coverage of the England WNT as well as a loyal supporter of Katie McCabe's Arsenal side.

Zhao Xintong wakes up today as world snooker champion after defeating Mark Williams  18-12 at the Crucible on Monday evening. It was a history-making victory as Zhao became the first Chinese player ever to win the world title. It was quite a run to the world title for the 'amateur', as Zhao also overcame Ronnie O'Sullivan in the semifinal. Speaking after losing the final, Williams compared Zhao to the seven-time World Champion. He (Zhao) is as good to watch as O’Sullivan was when he was younger.
