By Joshua Robin, DOST Region X CAGAYAN DE ORO — The Philippines has made it to the Guinness World Record for the most number of people planting bamboo simultaneously in multiple locations. Guinness World Records adjudicator Ms. Sonia Ushiriguchi confirmed these on November 28, 2024, during the celebration of the National Science, Technology, and Innovation Week organized by the Department of Science and Technology and held in Cagayan De Oro City.
