Matthew Purton will head the new division. Purton joined Air Charter Service in 2005 as a charter sales executive. Most recently, he was the director of worldwide commercial jet sales. AeroVanti, Patrick Britton-Harr still pitching private jet flights

Despite a recent consent final judgment for $3.4 million against AeroVanti, its founder, Patrick Britton-Harr, is still pitching private jet charter flights. He now says he has added a Citation Excel with discounts for members who are owed flights from unused deposits. The judgment for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was for an unpaid sponsorship.
OneFlight International offers limited $5,000 per hour jet cards

Denver-based OneFlight International has launched a Black Friday jet card promotion. The jet card deal offers 10 hours on a light jet for $50,000. At $5,000 per hour, the rate includes the 7.5% federal excise tax. The average hourly rate for light jets was $8,305 at the end of Q1 2025. A spokesperson says 20 promotional jet cards are allocated for the promotion. Only domestic flights are allowed. All flight hours must be used within one year.
New VP Maintenance at Ventura Air Services

Ventura Air Services has appointed Martin Colin as vice president of maintenance. Colin brings two decades of aviation maintenance and technical operations leadership. He joins Ventura from Silver Air, where he served as VP of tech ops/maintenance director and has held the FAA Part 119 post since 2020. The top 20 fractional/charter operator’s clients, prospects, and friends were hosted at the Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando, Florida. Guests received tips and instruction during a golf clinic led by LIV Golf professionals, including Ian Poulter, Henrik Stenson, Sam Horsfield, Graeme McDowell, and Lucas Herbert. Attendees were able to compete side-by-side with the professionals.
Private Jet Flight Activity Analysis - 2025 - Week 18

Worldwide private jet flight activity (73,755 departures) declined 4% week-to-week but was still 3% ahead of 2024 for Week 18 of 2025. U.S. private jet departures (51,274) were 1% ahead of last year and down 3% from the previous week. Texas flying performed the best of the biggest markets, up 6% year-over-year for the week ending May 4, 2025. Texas segments were 6% up year-over-year for the trailing four weeks per WingX.
