WALPOLE, N.H. — In American Legion Baseball, Bellows Fall Post 37 took two on Saturday afternoon at the Hubbard Baseball Complex in Walpole, NH from Rutland Post 31. In Game 1, Bellows Falls scored a run in the first and never trailed for the 5 to 2 victory. Rutland kept the game close, tying the game in the top of the third only to give up two runs in the fourth to Post 37. Rutland added a run in the fifth to make it 3-2. Bellows Falls added two insurance runs in the sixth inning.

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. — In well played a game on a warm but comfortable night at Hadley Field in Bellows Falls, Ludlow Post 36 defeated Bellows Falls Post 37 4-0. Ludlow scored two in the sixth inning and added a bonus two in the seventh. Bellows Falls had opportunities including leave two on the field in the seventh. Tanner Swisher was the game-winner; he was relieved in the seventh with two outs by Eli Boxer. Devy Cheeney went the distance for Post 37.

WALPOLE, N.H. — In American Legion Baseball, Bellows Falls Post 37 won their first game of the season over White River Post 84 on Tuesday evening at the Hubbard Baseball Park in Walpole, NH. The final score was 5-3. Post 37 scored first with a run in the third inning. White River took the lead in the top of the fifth with two runs only to have Post 37 score four in the bottom of the fifth. White River added a run in the sixth inning.

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. — Lake Region Post 49/50 took 2 from Bellows Falls Pierce Lawton Post 37 Saturday at Hadley Field. They won the first game 6-1. Game two was played during steady light rain. The visitors from Castleton won 10-7. Lake Region improves to 5-0 while a young Bellows Falls team seeks its first victory at 0-5.

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. — Bellows Falls softballers defeated the combined Winooski & Burlington squad 21-1 in a VPA Division 3 Softball quarterfinal game at Bellows Falls. The Terriers scored early and often, scoring four runs in the first inning aided by a two-run inside the park home run by Jaelyn Fletcher. They added five runs in the second inning and lead 15-0 after four innings.

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. — The Bellows Falls Terriers defeated the Richford Falcons 8-2 at Hadley Field Friday in the second round of the VPA Division 3 playoffs game. Jaxon Clark was the game winner; he was relieved in the sixth by Steven Joslyn who picked up the save. Carter Blaney was the starter and the losing pitcher for the Falcons. He was relieved by Mike Cunningham. The Terriers scored single runs in the first and second innings.

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. — On Senior Day on Friday in Bellows Falls, the Terriers defeated the Springfield Cosmos in a five-inning mercy rule, 18-1. The Terriers scored early and often: five runs in both the first and second innings. Izzy Stoodley went the distance in the circle for the Terriers. Amelia Munchie started for the Cosmos and was relieved by Kimber Consdine. The Cosmos’ only runs came on a solo blast over the center field fence in the second inning by Amelia Munchie.

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. — Thursday night on Senior Day in Bellows Falls, the Terriers defeated Green Mountain 5-1 under the lights at Hadley Field. This regular season-ending game had key hits with great defensive plays by both teams. After one inning, Green Mountain lead 1-0. In the third inning, the Terriers tied the game with 1 out and the bases loaded with an infield fly rule and a strike out to end the inning.

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. — The Oxbow Olympians traveled to Bellows Falls on Friday, May 17, and continued their sizzling season, improving to 11-0 with 26-0 win over the Terriers. The Olympians were aided by 3 home runs, a 3-run shot by Faith Eastman in the first inning. Noemi Rosa had the other 2 home runs along with an outstanding day in the circle for the win. It was not a great day for the home team.

NEWPORT, VT — It was a classic playoff football game on a windy cold night at North Country Union High School in Newport when the 3rd-seeded Bellows Falls Terrier made the long trip. After an honest game, the Terriers lost to the Falcons 21-20 in overtime. North Country advances to the Division 2 State Championship game in Rutland on Saturday, Nov. 11. They will face the 6th-seeded Colchester Lakers who upset the No. 1 seed Fair Haven Slaters for the Division II Championship.
