Lendeborg, a two-time AAC Defensive Player of the Year, landed at No. 1 on Hoops HQ’s ranking of the top transfers. The do-it-all forward averaged 17.7 points, 11.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.7 steals last season for UAB. His decision to withdraw from the Draft came as somewhat of a surprise, considering he was widely projected to be a first round pick (he was slotted at No. 28 in Hoops HQ’s latest mock).

Byrd’s decision to return is a huge boost to the program’s hopes of improving its fortunes during its final season in the Mountain West before moving on to the Pac-12 in 2026-27. The dynamic wing from Stockton, Calif., was the team’s second-leading scorer (12.3 points per game) and passer (2.7 assists) as a freshman but only shot 30.1 percent from three-point range. Byrd had been on the radars of NBA scouts all season.

Uzan’s decision coincided with the news that Creighton transfer Pop Isaacs, a 6-foot-2 junior guard, had flipped his commitment from Houston to Texas A&M. Isaacs averaged 16.3 points per game last year before undergoing season-ending hip surgery. Kansas State went 16-17 and finished ninth in the Big 12, failing to reach the NCAA Tournament for a second consecutive year. Tang and his staff went into the offseason with a decimated roster. But what sets him apart is his defensive versatility. Holt can handle point guards and battle in the post with big men. He defended four-star forward Sebastian Wilkins for most of their game. Florida immediately emerged as a strong candidate to land Fland after he dropped out of the draft, in part because his agent is Mike Miller, who starred for the Gators from 1998-2000 under coach Billy Donovan. Miller averaged 13.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in his two seasons in Gainesville, helping lead the program to the 2000 national title game. The addition of Fland, an All-SEC caliber talent, makes Florida a clear contender to run it back.
