After the fog mixes out Sunday afternoon, plan on a mild day with highs in the lower 50s. Temperatures won't drop much heading into Christmas Day. While Christmas Day will be one of the warmest days on record, there will also be plenty of rain across southeastern Wisconsin. We are forecasting a high of 53 on Christmas, and that will be one of the warmest on record; however, still way off the record high of 61!Rain is forecast to arrive by the late morning Monday and last throughout the evening.

A clipper system will arrive after midnight and provide a chance for some light snow overnight. The best chance for that snow will be from Midnight until 8 am.  While clippers tend to bring several inches of snow across our area, this system will slide further southwest. Most areas will receive around 0.5" of snow. Our western counties and areas near the IL/WI border could approach 1" of snow. The overall impacts will be minor.
