Colorectal cancer (CRC) has been poorly studied in South Africa, with limited studies on disease progression and development. Studies that have investigated CRC in South Africa have indicated that there is racial disparity between different racial groups that may be attributed to alternative developmental pathways, differences in genetic compositions or CRC initiators that result in these different clinical presentations.

In recent years, kinetic simulations have been crucial to further our understanding of pulsar electrodynamics. These simulations have been used to numerically and self-consistently solve the structure and geometry of a pulsar magnetosphere and calculate the radiative processes along the particles’ trajectories. The major limiting factor for these simulations is the large-scale separation between the gyro-period compared to the stellar rotation period.
