Star Wars: Battlefront 2 has seen a remarkable resurgence over the past month or so, with community enthusiasm building to the kinds of player counts the game hadn't seen in years. It's a feel-good story about a community managing to revitalize an old favorite – except for the part where hackers are still trying to ruin everything. While the console versions of Battlefront 2 are fine by all accounts, the PC version has been plagued by hackers for some time.

The sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 is officially entering pre-production, and CD Projekt Red has finally dropped the Project Orion codename in favor of calling it Cyberpunk 2, just like the rest of us have been doing this entire time. The devs would like to make sure you don't get it twisted, though – just because they're calling it Cyberpunk 2 doesn't mean it's actually going to be called Cyberpunk 2.

Switch 2 is nearly upon us, and as we all know the most exciting part of a new hardware launch isn't the new games – it's the new ways to play old games. Nintendo's official N64 emulator is getting some genuinely excellent upgrades on the new hardware, but at least one of those new features doesn't seem like the sort of thing that actually requires next-gen power.

Many third-party publishers are taking advantage of Nintendo's game-key card option for their Switch 2 titles, a fact that's causing no shortage of consternation to physical game collectors. One exception is Marvelous USA, the publisher behind Rune Factory and Story of Seasons, but it was apparently a tough decision to go with proper physical cartridges.

In a tiny new gameplay clip, Nintendo has made the connection even harder to ignore. They've got ska in this game, folks.
