A Florida mother is suing Character.ai, accusing the artificial intelligence company’s chatbots of initiating “abusive and sexual interactions” with her teenage son and encouraging him to take his own life. Megan Garcia’s 14-year-old son, Sewell Setzer, began using Character.AI in April of last year, the lawsuit says. It states that he committed suicide after his last conversation with a chatbot on February 28th.

TikTok couple Mag and Eric (@mag_eric) went viral after a woman pranked her husband while he was playing golf. In the video, Mag showed how she comically “gaslighted” her boyfriend so that he thought he was constantly hitting his ball into sand traps while he played golf.
