The couple drove from the Des Moines area that morning with the intention of checking out the city, but they didn’t really have a plan for their visit.     Members of Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dubuque recently started their garden beds for this year — and planted the seeds for a new farmers market in the process. Their work should result in a bounty of fresh produce, including carrots, broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, squash, pumpkins, cilantro and basil. In other raised garden beds nearby, they also planted a selection of flowers that will be suitable for bouquets.
