    Daniel Jacobsen continues a tradition in West Lafayette that is unlike any other in college basketball right now. He became the seventh Purdue player since 2015 to earn a spot on USA Basketball's U19 Men's National Team roster. No other program has produced more than four players in that span. Jacobsen is headed to Switzerland to play in the 2025 FIBA World Cup as a member os the USA U19 Men's National Team.

On Monday, three-star defensive end Katrell Webb announced that he's narrowed his list of potential options down to three schools, with both the Boilermakers and Hoosiers still in the mix. Florida State is the third program still in consideration. Webb made his announcement with a post on social media on Monday. He will make his announcement on July 4.

    Purdue's big recruiting weekend was capped off with a commitment from a fifth player in the 2026 class. Sunday evening, the Boilermakers landed a verbal pledge from 6-foot-6 athlete Dream Rashad out of Lawrenceville, Ga.Rashad made his announcement with a social media post. His decision came after taking an official visit to West Lafayette earlier this month. Rashad has spent time playing quarterback but made the switch to tight end during the offseason, per GoldandBlack.com.
