Silva, MD, discusses a study comparing ultrawide field red-green vs. red-green-blue imaging for determining the severity of diabetic retinopathy. “Based on our study of 95 eyes in 47 patients, we’ve seen that there is virtually no difference in the RG and RGB imaging devices in its ability to predict and identify the severity of retinopathy present in these eyes,” he said.
