We enrolled 98 outpatient agencies providing prenatal care or services (such as education, nutrition, support, etc.) in the United States or Puerto Rico between 10/5/2018 and 2/25/2021. The last agency follow-up assessment occurred on 8/20/2023. We chose to include a range of agencies for which ROSE would be appropriate to inform scale-up.

AbstractWe present and discuss a curated selection of recent literature related to the application of quantitative techniques, tools, and topics from mathematics and data science that have been used to analyze the mathematical sciences community. We engage in this project with a focus on including research that highlights, documents, or quantifies inequality that exists in the mathematical sciences, specifically, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) more broadly.

Table 3 shows unadjusted and adjusted OR for sociodemographic and health-related factors that were considered possible predictors of LCS uptake. In the adjusted model, participants of ages 65 to 79 years were 75% (OR, 1.75; 95% CI, 1.54–1.99) more likely to undergo LCS than their younger counterparts (i.e., 50–64 years). Female participants were 17% (OR, 0.83; 95% CI, 0.73–0.94) less likely to undergo LCS than their male counterparts.

Commercial value of cucumber is primarily driven by fruit quality. However, breeding goals frequently focus on production constraints caused by biotic and abiotic stresses. As sources of resistances are often present in unadapted germplasm, we sought to provide morphological and genetic information characterizing the diversity of fruit quality traits present in the CucCAP cucumber core collection.

Health messages are core building blocks of public health efforts. Neuroscientific measures offer insights into how target audiences receive health messages. To move towards real-word applications, however, challenges regarding costs, lab restraints, and slow data acquisition need to be addressed. Using portable EEG and inter-subject correlation (ISC) analysis as measure of message strength, we ask whether these challenges can be met.

This study elucidated the effects of dosage-dependent guanidinoacetic acid (GAA) supplementation on growth performance, muscle responses, and carcass characteristics in finishing beef steers. Thirty crossbred Red Angus beef steers (395 ± 28.09 kg) were randomly assigned one of three treatments during a 146-day feedlot study: basal diet without GAA supplementation (CONTROL), 1g of GAA per 100 kg of BW daily (LOWGAA), and 2g of GAA per 100 kg of BW daily (HIGHGAA).
