    So, farewell then, to a true icon. Marianne Faithfull 's death aged 78 marks the end of a life that through its ups and downs had so much in it. First and foremost she was a singer, but also an actress, and much more than just the muse of an iconic rock star. Even her early life seems to have been the stuff that when fiction stretches credulity. She was born in London on December 29 1946.

    God Is In The TV is proud to premiere the video for ' Steal You Away," by Ben Le Jeune. The single is out now, and it's the first to be taken from his debut solo album A Stranger To Your City, set to be released on April 25th by Missing Door. It may be seen below. The album was produced by Tim Thomas who has also worked with the likes of Elbow, Johnny Marr, The Fall, and Paul Heaton. It is his first music to be released since he moved to France in 2022.

    Black Country, New Road have announced the release of their third studio album. Entitled Forever Howlong, the album will be released on April 4 by Ninja Tune. The long-awaited new record was produced by James Ford ( Fontaines D.C., Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode, Blur) and sees the group settled into a new shape in which vocal duties - and most of the song writing - is split between Tyler Hyde, Georgia Ellery, and May Kershaw.

    Starsailor have announced a 25th anniversary tour this November. Following on from two sold-out shows in Liverpool next month, they will play a nine-date tour. The band still consists of its original line-up: James Walsh (vocals/guitar), James Stelfox (bass), Ben Byrne (drums) and Barry Westhead (keyboards).

    Black Grape has today announced an extensive UK tour taking place in November and December 2025. The tour will mark the 30th anniversaryof the classic debut Number 1 album It's Great When You're Straight...Yeah. The band's main support on the tour is Dodgy. Originally formed after the first break-up of Shaun Ryder's band Happy Mondays, Black Grape saw him work with rapper Kermit, formerly of the Ruthless Rap Assassins.
