An Egg Harbor Township man who sold illegal drugs in 2022 that caused the overdoses of two teenagers was sentenced to 15 years in prison on Monday. Elias Santiago, 27, was sentenced by Atlantic County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey J. Waldman to serve 15 years in New Jersey state prison for each death he caused. Santiago pleaded guilty in December to two counts of strict liability drug-induced death.

Fred Wilson, a teacher at Egg Harbor Township High School accused of threatening President Donald Trump in a social media post, has submitted his resignation, effective at the end of the school year. At Tuesday night's EHT Board of Education meeting, Wilson's resignation was unanimously approved, according to the Press of Atlantic City. Board President Lou Bella Barca made a brief statement concerning the decision. "We take comments about and suggestions of violence seriously.
