Investigators at the Shasta County sheriff's office have been able to identify the person that was involved in a fatal crash this weekend. According to officials, a Deputy Coroner Investigator was dispatched to Highway 44, West of Ally Gold Way in Shingletown at around 7:45 p.m. due to a fatal crash involving two cars. When medics and traffic officers arrived on the scene on Friday night, a man who was found on location and was pronounced deceased after the head-on collision.

Wildfire season is underway in California as different parts of the state are currently fighting major fires in their respective regions. Southern California near Bakersfield is fighting the Borel Fire while Northern California is fighting the Park Fire in Chico. Both have low containment percentages as of July 31. Fortunately enough, the Redding Air Attack Base made some facility upgrades earlier in the year to help with wildfire season and it seems to already be paying off. Gov.

It is the third year the fair has been expanded from four days to eight days and split into two weekends. This year, it runs from Thursday through Sunday of each week. KENT, Wash. — The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is asking for the public's help catching the suspect that caused a rollover crash on northbound Interstate 5 late Monday night. According to the WSP, a witness called 911 around 11:30 p.m. Monday to report a black 2023 Nissan Sentra and a 2006 Ford Escape were involved in a crash on northbound I-5 just south of SR-516 in Kent. The driver of the Sentra was reportedly speeding when they struck the Escape.
