LOCAL FISHINGA return to Arroyo de Los Venados (Deer Creek) to catch pan sized rainbows. Camp at Potato Patch campground. The Potato garden of the Nomlaki Winthun Indian tribe of old. The best bait by far is the lowly Eisenia foetidal a common Earth Worm. A cold blooded hermaphrodite that has no eyes, nose, ears, or teeth with which to bitte you. The receptors on their rubbery heads sense the light reflected from Rainbow Trout, so use circle hooks as opposed to “J” hooks. MR.
