The report examined the use of funding received by CHI from the National Treatment Purchase Fund (NTPF) to reduce waiting lists through holding additional clinics in 2021 and it showed some children who should have benefited faced delays due to the selection of patients by one consultant. It also highlighted fractious relationships between some consultants in a specialist department.
