Republican Texas Rep. Chip Roy intends to force his GOP colleagues to vote on his legislation repealing the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, he told the Daily Caller in an interview March 4. Roy reintroduced a repeal of the FACE Act in January after the Biden administration’s repeated weaponization of the law against pro-life protestors. “Well, first of all, I’ve reintroduced the FACE Act legislation here in this Congress, and we expect that we get a vote on that,” Roy said.

Oklahoma public schools must now collect data on student immigration status at enrollment, according to a new a rule from the State Board of Education. The board unanimously approved the rule to require parents and guardians to provide proof of citizenship or legal residency for their kids when enrolling in public schools. Acceptable documents include a birth certificate, passport, permanent resident card or another legal document.
