Last month, Research Manitoba’s Innovation Proof-of-Concept (IPoC) Grant Program allocated close to $550,000 in funding over the span of two years to support five research initiatives at the University of Manitoba. Among the recipients is associate professor in the faculty of kinesiology and recreation management Ayesha Saleem. Saleem is a principal investigator at the Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba.
