Congratulations to the Springville Wrestling team who have put in a ton of work to get to where they are. For the first time in school history, these young men came in 1st in Class 5A Region 3 Duals. They will work hard and prepare for the quarterfinals of the State Dual Tournament. Visit the Springville Senior Center on Mondays and enjoy Ceramics from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. and Yoga at 10:30 a.m. Games and Fellowship 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. See ya there!

Springville Parks and Recreation 3rd Annual Summer Bash is Thursday, May 23 at 11 a.m. at Big Spring Park. This is a family friendly event with free Splash Pad admission, free hot dogs, lemonade, popsicles, popcorn, free Bubble and Chalk Stations, field games with Parks & Rec Athletics, playground, volleyball and more. From 11 a.m. until 12 (noon) Prek Hour for 5 and under, from 12 (noon) until 5 p.m. Splash Pad open to all ages (no admission fee). At 12:30 field games (tug of war, sack race, etc).

By Elaine Crawford The Springville High School FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) competed in the 2024 State Leadership Conference in Montgomery on March 7 and 8. Linley Falkner, Emma Claire Kimbrough,, Madelyn Tesney and Mia Miller earned four gold medals placing 3rd in state in Interior Design and placing 4th in state in Chapter Service Project Display.
