Vanessa: My wardrobe is quite classic. I try not to get too into trends. I do love shoulders though... Shoulders have been having a moment for a while. Also, what's trending now is simple, classic style  – like an oversized shirt and baggy tailored trousers. That is so in line with my own aesthetic and always has been. 1. The Shoe “I am more of a flats person and love a chunky shoe, so my Rabanne x New Rock shoes are my go-to at the moment. They add a few extra centimetres of height and make me feel empowered. Equally, I can go in the opposite direction and wear a denim Chanel slingback for the evening, which is more elegant.”2. As a child, I was obsessed with my mother’s magazines. She also had this amazing collection of outfits from Christian Dior and other Parisian designers. My teenage style was very 80s – stone-washed, high-waisted jeans from Chipie, oversized sweatshirts from Fiorucci, blue eye shadow and lots of hairspray…Modelling wasn’t something that crossed my mind growing up. But I was discovered at Düsseldorf’s Checker’s disco by Dominic Galas and Michel Levaton from the Metropolitan model agency.
