INTRODUCTION United Kingdom (UK) Health Security Agency figures show that 94 397 people living with HIV (PLWH) accessed HIV care in England in 2022 [1]. The drive to end HIV transmission by 2030, but also to improve the outcomes for those PLWH has been underpinned by the early achievement of the 95:95:95 target for 2025, set by the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) [2, 3].
