Pssh, jokes on the NBA! The Chicago Bulls wanted to stay at No. 12! How else do you stay perfectly mid? Watching the NBA Draft Lottery felt like failing to carry in all your groceries. For some reason, I stared at all the bags and had far too much confidence. When the Chicago Bulls’ card was held up at No. 12, a couple of apples rolled down the driveway. Then, the Portland Trail Blazers were revealed at No. 11, meaning the Dallas Mavericks automatically jumped into the Top 4.

The Chicago Bulls stay put … and it gets worse. Coming into the night slotted 12th in the NBA Draft Lottery order, the organization held only a 1.7 percent chance at the No. 1 overall pick and an 8.0 percent chance to move into the Top 4. The ping pong balls have now spoken, and the franchise did not cash in on those slim odds. The Bulls will pick No. 12 overall when the draft tips off on June 25, 2025.

Ahh, you gotta love the sweet sound of ping pong balls clacking in the morning. As Arturas Karnisovas and Co. anxiously await the NBA Draft Lottery, ESPN’s Shams Charania broke some potentially league-altering news. While Giannis Antetokounmpo has not yet decided if he wants out of Milwaukee, the Greek Freak is willing to consider a move more than ever.

Owen Caissie had the blast of the day for the Iowa Cubs. One of Chicago’s Top 3 prospects, Caissie saw five pitches and drew a full count before a sinker fell right over the top of the plate. Hit right off the barrel of the bat, the ball traveled a whopping 431 feet over the centerfield wall with a 107.9 exit velocity. Check it out: CAISSIE CRUSHER5-2 I-CUBS pic.twitter.com/az23ncRDsc— Iowa Cubs (@IowaCubs) May 10, 2025 The homer marked Caissie’s sixth of the season and his second in three games.
