According to Deputy City Manager Shannon Riley, the item was initially continued to a date certain following significant public comment at a June 11 meeting. However, city staff have since decided to delay the hearing indefinitely to allow more time to gather information and address outstanding questions from both the commission and the public.

In Ukiah, Bradley Burns sales tax revenue from brick- and-mortar locations has declined by 1% over the last five years, according to records kept by the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration.
