With blood streaks and slanted walks the undead paraded around Mass St. on Oct. 19 for the Granada and 1313 Mockingbird Lane’s 16th annual zombie walk. From the bloody and gruesome to the pink and sparkly, zombies gathered at South Park to partake in the vendors, professional photos along with bloodbath and makeup stations available before the parade.

The undead and hungry will soon walk Mass. St. again, as The Granada and 1313 Mockingbird Lane’s 16th annual zombie walk will take place on Oct. 19. Fellow zombies can gather at South Park at 6 p.m. to partake in costume contests along with free makeup and blood bath stations — professional photos can be taken of anyone before they invade the streets at sundown.

Drag artists Marie Queerie, Vantas, and Minti Varieties created a pop of color and excitement in Ekdahl "Mrs. E's" Dining Center at the Drag Brunch on Sept. 30 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.The event was hosted by Student Union Activities (SUA) and The Center for Sexuality and Diversity (SGD). "I work hard at my drag, but it's also [about] the sense of passion, and it's so wonderful to see people really appreciate all the work that I do," Queerie said.

With LGBTQ+ flags proudly hanging, vibrant costumes, and an air of celebration, Ecumenical Campus Ministries (ECM) hosted their Pride is a Riot drag show, a fundraiser for queer organizations, Sept. 15 at the ECM. The show featured performances from drag artists Johnny Diablo, KYKY Mo-Dean, Kansas Campbell, Lambyyy, Chay D. Boots, and Vantas.
