SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Cooler temperatures have settled in for the weekend with dry conditions for Saturday, but as we approach the late morning hours on Sunday, rain showers move into the area. Tonight, lows will drop into the upper 30s, but winds will be relatively calm or right around 5 mph. Clouds will increase overnight. We’ll see those clouds thicken up later Sunday morning when rain showers roll into Siouxland.

***Red Flag Warning in western Siouxland until late Monday night***SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Warm, windy, and dry conditions across the area have led to Red Flag Warnings being issued across the area that will last until Monday evening. Monday will be slightly cooler with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s, but we will stay quite dry until later in the day plus winds will be gusting near 45 miles per hour. As we turn to Monday evening, showers become a possibility and maybe a thunderstorm or two.

***Fire Weather Watch for most of the western half of Siouxland on Sunday until 8pm***SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - As temperatures increase for the weekend, so do wind speeds. Windy conditions will stick with us into the start of the work week seeing gusts upwards of 35 miles per hour on Sunday and Monday. Temperatures climbed into the lower 80s for some of us Saturday. It will still be warm Sunday, but highs aren’t expected to get as warm as Saturday.

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A cold front will pass through Siouxland tonight dropping temperatures to start the work week and picking up a bit of a breeze. Overnight lows will drop into the mid to upper 20s. Wind gusts from the northwest could be up to 20 or 25 miles per hour. Skies will be quite sunny tomorrow, but temperatures will be on the cooler side only getting into the mid to upper 40s. However, we will steadily see that increase throughout the week.
