The really big events on our Buzz calendar this weekend include the annual Tar Fest arts festival and two big Juneteenth celebrations…but there’s a lot more going on, too (especially on Saturday). Of course, Sunday is Father’s Day, so it’s also handy that many of the events below – including offerings in the ongoing Hollywood Fringe Festival and for Pride Month – would be great to share with your dad or, in some cases, for dads to share with their kids.

The unfurling of summer continues this weekend, with two more seasonal events returning to our Larchmont Buzz calendar – Friday wine tastings at Barnsdall Art Park, and the Debbie Allen Dance Academy’s big community festival in West Adams (including free dance classes!). Also, Pride Month begins on Saturday, with related events at both Chevalier’s Books and the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
