    VIOLA, Ark. — Special agents with the Arkansas State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force have now arrested a man in connection with the possession of child sexual abuse materials. According to reports, at about 6:00 a.m. on April 22, agents with the ICAC, ASP troopers, and the members of the Fulton County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at a home in Viola. The warrant was executed as a result of a cyber tip that had originated from a social media platform.

According to reports, 15-year-old Halo Sweet was last seen on Kenwood at around 4:00 p.m. on April 22. She is described as being 5'5" in height and was last seen wearing a black shirt with black leggings and black Crocs. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact police at (501) 778-1171.

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — According to the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH), there are now three confirmed measles cases in the state. The ADH announced the first positive case on the afternoon of Thursday, April 10, 2025, when a positive case of measles had been identified in Saline County. According to ADH officials, the case was identified in an Arkansan who was unvaccinated against the illness. Additionally, they said that the Arkansan was exposed to the illness during a visit out of state.
