British Paralympic medallist Daphne Schrager completed a double as she returned to international action at the Para-cycling Road World Cup in Italy. The 24-year-old from Wiltshire, who won Britain's first medal at last year's Paris Games when she took individual pursuit silver, won both races in her C2 class in Maniago.

Brentford defender Ben Mee has announced he will leave the club at the end of the season. The 35-year-old joined Brentford on a free transfer in July 2022 after 11 years at Burnley and the former England Under-21 international has played 67 times for the Bees, scoring five goals. However this season he has made just two Premier League starts and five appearances off the bench. His final home game will be Sunday's derby against Fulham.

Olympic triathlon double bronze medallist Beth Potter returned to action with second place in the World Triathlon Championship Series in Yokohama. Potter, who was 14th for Great Britain over 10km in last month's European Road Running Championships, finished four seconds behind Luxembourg's Jeanne Lehair with Germany's Lisa Tertsch in third, two seconds back. Reigning Olympic and world champion Cassandre Beaugrand of France crashed out on lap six of the bike leg.

The New York Knicks eliminated defending NBA champions Boston Celtics from the play-offs with a 119-81 victory to reach their first Eastern Conference finals in 25 years. Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby led the way with 23 points apiece as the Knicks completed a 4-2 series victory to set up a showdown against fourth-seeded Indiana Pacers for a place in the NBA finals. The Knicks will open the seven-game series at home at 01:00 BST on Thursday.
