On the dias were Commissioners Nic Wilson (6/8F01), Vice Chair Markita Bryant (6/8F02), Chair Brian Strege (6/8F03), Secretary Edward Daniels (6/8F04) and Treasurer Liam Goodwin (6/8F05). ANC 6/8F voted to send a letter urging DC Council to pass the Juvenile Curfew Emergency Amendment Act of 2025.

Two vehicles collided Saturday at a major Hill intersection, leaving one person in each vehicle trapped. Both were extracted by DC Firefighters. The accident happened around 11 p.m. June 21. Officers immediately received reports of a traffic accident at the intersection of 14th Street and Potomac Avenue SE, near the intersection with Potomac Avenue SE. Police say one vehicle failed to stop at the red light at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Potomac Avenue SE.

Hundreds of people lined street between William H. Rumsey Aquatic Center and Lincoln Park as DC Fire Emergency Medical Services (DC FEMS) marked 100 years since the department switched from horse-drawn fire engines to engine-powered vehicles. And they did in the same way it was done in 1925.
