For 28 years, Lisa Smith has been a dedicated presence in the Alcorn School District, serving students across all schools as the district’s Psychometrist. A 1990 graduate of Kossuth High School, Lisa’s academic journey continued with degrees from the University of Mississippi, Blue Mountain College, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Lisa credits her grandmother, Velma Jones Strachan, a beloved math teacher at Glen, Farmington, and Kossuth, for inspiring her career in education.
