I have a bit of a bad track record with Studio Élan’s visual novels: both Heart of the Woods and Highway Blossoms have sat unplayed in my Steam library for years now. That kind of sweet but subdued Yuri VN should be something I absolutely adore, but somehow I’ve bounced off each of the ones I’ve tried. That is until Please Be Happy, which I’m pleased to report finally managed to sink the studio’s hooks into me.

While equipment usually comes with its own array of bonuses, there will often be slots for you to add your own preferred modifiers for added customization. These mods are called Augments, and here’s how to make use of them in Xenoblade Chronicles X and its Definitive Edition. Augments can be equipped to any piece of weapon, armor, or Skell gear that has an empty Augment slot, indicated by the dotted circle below where it says “Additional Effects” on its information tab.

Hololive Vtuber Nanashi Mumei announced she will be graduating from Cover’s company on April 28, 2025. She cited issues with her health, as well as “internal misalignment in the company” as reasons for her departure. Known for her singing, drawing, and live performances, Mumei suffered from chronic health problems including a persistent cough that have affected her ability to stream and perform. She also was attending college while performing as a Vtuber.
Nintendo Virtual Game Cards will let you Lend Digital Games

Nintendo announced a new system called Virtual Game Cards, which should allow owners to transfer games between Switch systems and lend them to family members. The announcement came at the end of the March 2025 Nintendo Direct. Using the Virtual Game Card system, you will be able to transfer a digital game to another Nintendo Switch device. However, you must have an online connection and have registered the two devices locally.

A new game in the AI: The Somnium Files setting was announced during the surprise March 2025 Nintendo Direct, and it is titled No Sleep for Kaname Date. The game has been confirmed to release on July 25, 2025, and it will appear on the Nintendo Switch. The new game will focus once again on the first game’s protagonist Kaname Date as he seeks to rescue Iris from what appears to be some kind of space-bound prison.
Genshin Impact A Tranquil Day Varesa Web Event Begins

HoYoVerse released a new Genshin Impact Web Event called A Tranquil Day, focusing on new five-star character Varesa. Players will be able to earn up to 80 Primogems by playing, which can be used in the main game’s gacha system. You can play it yourself here. In order to receive rewards, players will need to link a game account that has reached at least Adventure Rank 10.
